For 25 years Holy Angels students in grades 6-8 have participated in a program called the Science Olympiad. This program is one of the most acclaimed extracurricular science programs in the country, with participants from 7,500 middle and high school in all 50 states. It covers all fields such as science, technology, engineering, and math.

Teams of students work on academic events at a high school level while others work on engineering-based construction events with each student working on at least four events. Teams of 15 students work on the 23 events making up each year’s program.
